Loktej is part of Taptilok Publication with its registered office in Surat, India. Started in 1991, the company is founded by Ghanshyam Prasad Sanadhya. Kuldeep Sanadhya is the proprietor and owner of the company.

Basically, Loktej is the first Hindi Newspaper being published from Surat and circulated in South Gujarat Region. Loktej was started was a Hindi Weekly Newspaper in 1991 and converted into a Daily Newspaper in 1996. Since then, It has a been published regularly and has become mouth piece of the Hindi speaking people of the region.

Loktej.com is its Online News Portal with a focus to provide interesting Local and National-Intentional News Stories.

Loktej has a prime source of revenue from advertisements in its Print Edition and Online News Portal, apart from the sell of Newspapers.
